The Collie River Valley Bulletin is based in the picturesque Collie River Valley.
It was launched in 2020 after the closure of the Collie Mail, which had served the town for over 100 years.
The newspaper plays a vital role in the community, keeping readers informed on matters which make a difference to their lives.
Collie is located approximately 200 kilometres south of Perth and only 60 kilometres from the regional port city of Bunbury in the South West of Western Australia.
The town is well known for its amazing blue lakes, fabulous mountain biking networks, beautiful walk trails, scenic camping options and historical beauty.A huge investment in mountain bike trails has helped transform the traditional mining and power generation town into one of the State’s leading adventure tourism centres.
Both the World-famous Munda Biddi Trail and Bibbulmum Track pass through Collie.
Tourism and industry go hand in hand in the town.
The town has grown to become a major regional centre with a population of approximately 8,000 in the primary coverage area. The paper is also distributed to nearby towns such as Treendale, Eaton, Bunbury and Busselton.
